NOMINATION FORM
We are a national charity supporting, rehabilitating, protecting and celebrating serving and retired police dogs from across the United Kingdom. We’re passionate about celebrating the remarkable work of these dogs which is why we launched the Thin Blue Paw Awards.

THIN BLUE PAW AWARDS NOMINATION FORM
We are delighted to announce that nominations for our 2025 Thin Blue Paw Awards are now open and will close at 17:00hrs on Friday 4th July 2025. Each year, the Foundation celebrates the remarkable contributions of police dogs across the United Kingdom.
From detaining dangerous suspects while sustaining injuries from a machete, to locating suicidal missing people, our previous deserving award winners have gone above and beyond to protect communities and fight crime.
Our awards pay tribute to the remarkable work of these canine heroes and their handlers, and it’s an honour to accept nominations for our 2025 awards. So, if you know of a police dog and handler who deserves to be celebrated, nominate them in one of the six award categories below.
Previous award winners have appeared on BBC Breakfast, Good Morning Britain, Sky News, ITV News, and across national online and print media. You can read more about our previous Thin Blue Paw Award winners here.
